Mena is 8 years old and lives with her father, mother, and baby brother. She enjoys playing tag, and her favorite school subject is English.
Mena’s father is a daily laborer, but the work is not permanent, and he cannot always find a job. Mena’s mother used to wash clothes and cook for other people, but since Mena’s baby brother was born, her mother now stays home.
The Child Sponsorship Program will help Mena and her family by providing food, clothing, hygiene products, and more. Mena’s parents will also join a self-help group where they will receive skills training and support to help the family become financially stable.
